Mono spacing breaks in TDE's Kate

Problem description
Spacing in Mono statics is several times wider than normal

Expected behavior
Same spacing as rendered in other text editors

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start a Trinity Desktop Environment session
2. Launch Kate
3. Go to Settings -> Configure Kate
4. Select either Recursive Mono Casual Static or Recursive Mono Linear Static

Environment:

• OS: Debian 12.7
• Browser: Not a browser-related issue
• Fonts: v1.085 release
