Thanks for contacting us about this. To clarify, are you looking to use a locally stored Gradle distribution instead of the one that comes with the app? Or, is it something else? |

It would be nice to have at least some option to change the version. |

Or perhaps we can remove the function of detecting whether the installation is successful. I don't think it's very useful. Even though I successfully installed it, when I returned to the IDE, it still prompted me that the installation failed

It looks like the video did not upload correctly. It may be too large for this platform, which sets a limit of 10 MB. You can also try sending it to me at benjohnson@appdevforall.org, but I believe the file size cannot exceed 25 MB. If this isn't an option, a screenshot will also be helpful. Thank you. |

@ZhaoBole I believe I received an email from you showing the error. Thank you! I now know that this problem applies to an app you created. I emailed a response to you saying the following: It looks like the installation may be blocked by a security setting. This is common on some Android devices, depending on the manufacturer. In your phone's system settings, please go to: Settings → Apps & Notifications → Special App Access → Install Unknown Apps From there, find and select Code on the Go in the list, then toggle on "Allow from this source." If you can't find it through that path, try typing "Install unknown apps" or "Installation sources" directly into the Settings search bar, as the exact menu location may vary depending on your OS version. Please let me know if this doesn't work! |
