It's not entirely impossible that al2023 becomes a rolling release like OpenSuse Slowroll but using Enterprise linux packages? |

There was a talk at Re:Invent 2025 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXZMjOm_OMc&t=36s that touched on development for AL NEXT that should be beginning this year and talked about how kernel lifecycles and updates were going to be handled going forward. |

Hi,
If I recall correctly, AL2023 mentioned a 2 year "major" release cadence.
This statement seems to have disappeared from the official documentation.
I'm wondering if we are going to see a new major release of AL2023 in 2025 with a newer kernel (6.6 ? maybe 6.12 since it's the latest LTS).
