💾 Dynamic Linux Swap Optimizer

A smart shell utility to automatically detect system RAM and allocate the optimal Swap memory configuration on Ubuntu and Debian KVM servers.

🎯 Why use this?

Running out of memory on game servers or database nodes can lead to abrupt OOM (Out Of Memory) kernel kills. This script:

  • Analyzes existing physical memory (RAM).
  • Creates an optimal, fast /swapfile.
  • Adjusts /etc/fstab for permanent persistence across reboots.
  • Tweaks vm.swappiness and vfs_cache_pressure for optimal performance.
