There have been a few requests to get involved in some light summer data science / github experiences related to marine organism stress. To that end we are soft launching https://github.com/RobertsLab/marine-stress-data-atlas
A community-curated catalog of publicly available datasets on marine organisms exposed to environmental stress — heat, ocean acidification, disease, hypoxia, salinity, and pollutants.
Each contribution is small, independent, and data-focused: a student finds one paper/dataset, verifies the information, adds one row to a CSV, and writes a short dataset card.
The idea is if you have a random hour you could tackle an independent effort and get some hands on GitHub experience!
