When clicking "show preview" in the KB section, the document downloads instead of displaying a preview. This prevents users from quickly reviewing documents before deciding to download them.

• Change functionality to display document previews instead of downloading them.
• Maintain the download option for users after previewing.

Original issue

Hi,

Whenever we click on show preview in KB section, instead of showing preview, it downloads the document.
Right behaviour should be to show preview. I am able to see it on staging. If same behavious happening on production, then we should change it there. User should have an option to preview the documents and if needed - they can download it also.

Yes @PritamSGB, I noticed this as well. It currently starts downloading the file for documents coming from the knowledge base instead of previewing them. For other file formats such as Markdown (.md), PDF, and TXT, the preview is working as expected.

For Google Docs and similar document types, I will need to investigate how they are being handled. I will check this further and provide an update accordingly.
