It's possible to bug out the game by hitting the instant win button super early and you end up in this state:
When you're in that state the game is hard locked. You're unable to move, access menus etc. The game doesn't continue.
Possible to do this by spamming the X button as the stage is loading. Not sure if stage select vs story makes a difference but I did this in story mode on a fresh file.
