Alienware R16 desktop with 187c:0550 does not work with this program

The program compiles and runs fine on Ubuntu 26.04 on this Alienware R16 Aurora desktop. However, I tried changing every setting and applying, with zero results. The "Test Zones" functional also appeared to do nothing and did not return any results. I also tried running as root. I'd be happy to work with you and send you whatever info you need. No warnings or errors were written to the console.

By shear chance, I found that this does work, but changes don't take effect until after a restart. Having it take effect immediately would be great.

Hi, Yea I build this for my R13, but unfortunately I don't have it anymore, so I can't continue any development. Do all the lights work after a restart?

My goal was turn all the lights off, since people sleep in this room and the computer is on 24/7, so yes, the desired effect was achieved. Your program was the only one out of like 4 or 5 that I tried that actually worked. Thanks!
