Feature description

Start a call with a single tap on a shortcut or widget on the home screen.

Would be nice if it could work from lock screen too (notification with action)?

Why do you want this feature?

Great for emergencies and elderly.

Use Fossify Phone -> long-press a contact -> three-dots menu -> create shortcut

Great Thanks, this UI certainly has some logic once it works but I can swear I tried several very similar actions and didn't get it.

Have a problem though, if contact has several phone numbers I can't choose which one it should be?

I see two solutions, although no one is perfect, admittedly.

• Create different contacts for the two (or more) numbers (say, "myfriend home", "myfriend office", "myfriend mobile", ...). From those you can create two (or more) shortcuts.

• Create a shortcut from the Contacts app (so, not from the Phone app). In that case, pressing the shortcut opens the contact details and from there you can call the different numbers.

Maybe someone else has better suggestions.

I have been doing this already for contacts where I need to share some information with other apps and want to make sure the other app sees only the bare minimum required.. choosing private storage for most contracts. Doable and error prone.

Not good enough in this case.
