The UI of 2026.2.1 is not good-looking

I like the previous version better than the previous one.
For example, the fonts are too large, bold, etc. which are very strange.

Is this really good looking?

We don't plan to remove the Classic interface until the Avalonia UI reaches feature parity and is considered complete.

We've unfortunately had to drop the classic interface early because of pressure on our CDN. Keeping both WinUI and Avalonia meant a much larger package size, you'll notice that the new release is significantly smaller. It's not just for CDN costs, we've had users complain about the larger package size, so we knew we couldn't keep both for long.

You could use GitHub releases as the primary delivery mechanism instead of mirroring to your CDN to help relieve pressure. Either way, will be reverting to v2026.2.1 locally and pinning version. Might end up forking if I get motivated enough.

Don't like the new UI update for 2026.2.1 either. Even the app icon looks meh. I think the prior version looked much cleaner.

I actually prefer the new Avalonia UI. The WinUI3 UI feels bloated.

The new interface design is a near-disaster, both in terms of UX and aesthetics. The excessive use of bold fonts completely obscures the distinction between key content.

Mine just changed to a shade of brown in 2026.2.2 that looks like...well, it looks bad.

I never update winget based packets, only all the others.
plz don't start ruining it like good basic product managers which care only about themselves.
