We have a use case for ceterms:Competency to point directly to ceterms:RubricCriterion.
The publisher is an industry trade organization that creates globally accepted industry standards for specialized occupations. The industry standard establishes the knowledge and skill elements required of workers at different occupational levels. The standard is published in sandbox as ceterms:Rubric. Each knowledge and skill element is a Rubric Criterion.
The publisher would like to publish a Competency Framework for a certification in which the competencies directly reference the knowledge and skills elements (Rubric Criterion) to which they align. This will allow them to demonstrate how the competencies required for certification meet the criteria in the industry standard.
We had initially intended to use the property ceterms:knowledgeEmbodied to connect a Competency to a Rubric Criterion. However, the range only includes ceterms:Competency -- not Rubric Criterion.
Open to ideas on the best way to make this connection: 1) Expanding the range of Knowledge Embodied to include Rubric Criterion; 2) Using a different property to connect from Competency to Rubric Criterion; 3) Some other solution.
