just apply a flxtween to the shader, its like using lerps. basically, just do:
FlxTween.tween([SHADER], {"{value}: (number)", (time)});
(i havent actually tried this, but if its anything like lerps it should work like this)

For sprites that'll be just sprite.shader = null;,
Codename Engine cameras have to do camera.removeShader(shader);.
