Everything is working fine, but the progress bar sits above my taskbar; however, as soon as I click on the taskbar, the progress bar drops behind the Windows taskbar... how can I make it stay on top? Thanks a lot ! Gorgo. |

The floating widget only gets pushed to the top of the z-order at specific moments (when it's created/shown, when you drag it, when DPI/monitor settings change, or when it auto-ejects off the taskbar) - it isn't continuously kept on top. Source: The Windows taskbar ( Workaround that actually fixes it: dock the widget back onto the taskbar instead of leaving it floating. Drag it onto free space on the taskbar until it snaps in (there's a snap threshold in the same file). Once docked it becomes a child window of the taskbar itself ( If it keeps auto-ejecting back to floating, that's because there isn't enough free space in your taskbar for it (icons/notification area crowding it out) - free up some taskbar space (smaller icons, fewer pinned apps, or move the monitor's taskbar) and it should stay docked. If you specifically want it to float above everything rather than sit inside the taskbar, that's a real gap in the current z-order handling and worth opening as a bug - the fix would be adding a periodic re-assert of |
