Versions of webOS CLI and MagicRemoteService that worked for me

I changed laptops and needed to get MagicRemoteService running on the new one. The setup wasn't exactly smooth.
Old laptop had Windows 10, this new one has Windows 11. Not sure if relevant.

My TV info (a bit old, but it works):

C:\>ares-device -i -d lg65
[Info] Set target device : lg65
modelName : 65UK7550PLA
sdkVersion : 4.4.0
firmwareVersion : 05.50.70
boardType : LM18A_DVB_EU
otaId : HE_DTV_W18A_AFADABAA

I already had developer mode set up and running on my TV, so if you don't, you have to set it up before running MagicRemoteService.

As the latest versions didn't work, after some trial and error, this is the combination I got mine working with:

1. Install NVM 1.1.12
   • Download and install the nvm-setup.exe from assets
2. Open Command Prompt (I have a feeling it worked better than PowerShell)
3. Install npm 16.20.2 by running:
   • nvm install 16.20.2
4. Take npm into use by running:
   • nvm use 16.20.2
5. Install webOS CLI v3.0.6 by running:
   • npm install -g @webos-tools/cli@3.0.6
6. Download, unpack, and run MagicRemoteService 1.2.4.11
7. Do necessary configs and "Install on TV" (also have HDMI connected).

I've tried all of the above with the same versions listed but the app on the tv is never able to connect to the computer. The service is running and I'm able to click Install On TV but then it fails connecting. Firewall is also configured correctly

@applesandsynths Have you set up the developer mode in your TV and checked the IP addresses?
I omitted those from these steps, since this ticket was more about the working/compatible webOS CLI and MagicRemoteService versions.
