TypeError: Failed to parse URL from /wp-json/headless-wp/v1/app

Describe the bug

I get: TypeError: Failed to parse URL from /wp-json/headless-wp/v1/app randomly in production (i.e. deployed to Vercel) despite NEXT_PUBLIC_HEADLESS_WP_URL env being set.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to a page
2. Page sometimes randomly fails and throws error
3. Vercel log says "TypeError: Failed to parse URL from /wp-json/headless-wp/v1/app"
